Why do Sunni and Shia reject Quran on Adultery outright and blame prophet Muhammad via unreliable Hadith? Allah covers Adultery and fornication in the Quran with words that place heavy responsibility on Muslim men for the protection of Muslim women and their children, but Muslim men override the Quran with Hadith that oppress women and children and deprive them of their God-given rights in the Quran and make killers of husbnds who shirk their responsibility, and the prophet is used as the scapegoat for their rebellion to the Law of Allah. This rejection of Quran on adultery leaves Muslim communities with the barbaric law of stoning women to death and the alternative of "honour killing", for the preservation of the family's honour. Amnesty International and the UN can be contacted about this false Sharia. Please! Mullahs and Mufties and Ayatollahs and Sheikhs and Imams and Converts and Reverts and New Muslims,Please, I am begging for answers! And the Quran says if you dont know, ask. Are Muslims facing the wrath of Allah for their false male-dominant Islam, or is it Bahia? Do Muslims, sheikhs, mullahs, mufties, modertates, extremists, islamists, jihadists, reverts and converts avoid questions about Islam because they are too confused about Islam and do not have the answers or are they too deeply involved in unreliable hadith and astray from Islam and ignorant of the Words of Allah in the Quran? Do they not follow the advice to gather knowledge from the cradle to the grave and worship instead their strayed parents and refuse to consult the Quran for knowledge? Repent and amend! Read Quran In the Name of Allah and obey Allah.

You should maintain a good manner (adaab) at all times especially in front of non-Muslims as your manners IS Islaam to them and on the day of judgment when asked why they didn't become muslim they will cite YOU as their role model and they will be forgiven and YOU will be responsible for their lack of faith in Islaam. The hadith, were they the words of muhammad, and when were they written? These are the links is for the hadith: http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/653/viewall/ http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/582/viewall/ These links below altogether talk against the hadith and the sunnah(although theses people may be viewed as a heretical sect of islam, they do make one point that the hadith were corrupted(even if islam were true, the hadith shouldn't be apart of the religion): http://www.submission.org/wisdom.html http://submission.org/hadith/hadith2.html http://www.submission.org/hadith/sunnahdogma.html http://submission.org/obey-Prophet-Muhammed.htm Be sure to read the first link for it first, then read the first link against it next, and compare the contents of the two links before reading the others'.
Muslims: Which Hadith is the most reliable one to read and follow.? I want to start reading the Hadith, but I view it as the Gospel, its different point most of views and people wrote it, which one is the famous one and that the majority of people follow it.
Is Hadith the word of God, the word of the propehet Muhammed or the concoctions of man? It is a fact that the hadith were recorded +-300 years after the death of Mohammed. The hadith have numerous contradictions. In the quran itself god makes the statement" If this (ie quran) is from other than god then you will find therein much discrepancy. By the same logic, hadith is not from God because it contains much discrepancy. A simple test today would be to pass a message around the room between 10 people. You will in no way get the same message on the other side. Yet, why do people expect a bunch of nomad desert bound Arabs in AD 600 to pass messages across 300 years and countless generations and still produce a positive result. This is ludicrous & illogical in the extreme! Quran does not acknowledge or sanction existence of hadith. Quran says it is complete and a perfect guide for mankind. In my opinion, hadith is no more than a history book, which is useful as such, but has no religous significance. In quran god says follow Muhammad, I say show me what he said!
Hadith? Other than Quran? One of the answers to questions I asked in this site made a reference to Hadith. This leads me to read on briefly through wikipedia. My question: why is there another reference other than your Quran? Does Quran do not tackle everything necessary. And what is the main difference? In analogous reference to Catholics, they also have their cathecism with those traditions not found in the bible.

Who can participate in a Jihad according to the Quran or Hadith? Does it say anywhere in the Quran or Hadith that only men are permitted to participate in a jihad ? If so, or not and it says other qualifications, can you please state what surah or part? Thanks! I am not talking about Jihad Akbar (of the personal struggle because I know that is a fundamental part of any Muslim's life) but I am talking about the Jihad Kabeer or the struggle against the forces of Satan and all who oppose the spread of Islam. So I'm asking in relations to, NOT the inner struggle, but the outer one.
Can you give me the english version of this hadith?

A question about those who leave Islam and the hadith? The Holy Qur'an says Let there be no compulsion in the religion: Clearly the Right Path (i.e. Islam) is distinct from the crooked path Qur'an 2.256 I thought that Bukhari was an authentic hadith so why does it say '...Kill whoever changes his religion...' Sahih Bukhari 9:84:57 Doesn't this contradict what is written in the Qur'an or am I getting it wrong? Thanks oh, I have no intention of leaving Islam...I'm trying to learn more about my religion...knowledge is power
why do muslims ignore the hadith of thaqalain? HADITH-E-THAQALAIN (HADITH OF TWO GREAT THINGS The Prophet said: "If you keep yourselves attached to these two, never, never will you go astray after me." that is the holy quran and my ahle bayt(Ali(as )Fatima (AS) Hassan(as) and Hussein(as) authentic books of your sect have related it. In fact, even the great traditionist, Muslim, who is regarded as being equal to Bukhari, has also related it. The other scholars who have related this tradition are the following: Muslim bin Hajjaj in his Sahih, Volume VII, page 122; Abu Dawud in his Sahih; Tirmidhi in his Sunan, Part 2, page 307; Nisa'i in his Khasa'is, page 30; Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal in his Musnad, Volume III, page 14-17, Volume IV, page 26 and 59, and Volume V, page 182 and 189, Hakim in Mustadrak, Volume III, page 109 and 148; Hafiz Abu Nu'aim Isfahani in his Hilyatu'l-Auliya, Volume I, page 355; Sibt Ibn Jauzi in his Tadhkira, page 182; Ibn Athir Jazari in his Usudu'l-Ghaiba, Volume II, page 12 Many of your scholars have related this important hadith from the Holy Prophet so commonly and with unbroken continuity of narration from one to the other that it has attained the status of a regularly narrated hadith. According to this hadith, the Prophet said the following: "I leave among you two weighty things: the Book of Allah and my progeny. If you keep yourselves attached to these two, never, never will you go astray. These two will never be separated from each other until they meet me at the Fountain of Kauthar." Based on this genuine hadith, we hold that we should seek adherence to the Holy Qur'an and the Ahle Bait of Muhammad.
Hadith #6: Did 800 dirhams go to the slave or to the companion? Sahih Bukhari~Volume 9, Book 89, Number 296: Narrated Jabir: The Prophet came to know that one of his companions had given the promise of freeing his slave after his death, but as he had no other property than that slave, the Prophet sold that slave for 800 dirhams and sent the price to him.

Are Muslims serious about Hadith that nullify Quran on Shariah on Adultery and give Muhammad power over Allah? The Law that covers adultery in the Quran places grave responsibility on Muslim man to be the near perfect husband and father, but the Shariah that comes out of Hadith has prophet Muhammad amending Allah's Law to make adultery punishable by stoning to death, which removes the Muslim man's responsibility to Allah and encourages murder of Muslim women on suspicion through "honor killing" in Muslim countries. No man alive today or who lived during the days of the Revelation of the Quran, had or has the authority to override Quran, and Muslims who do so or who condone such legislation are guilty of Shirk. Mankind has taken more than 1400 years, with 20th. Century technology and scientists and advanced resources to begin to unravel the scientific information contained in the Quran. It is no small wonder then that there isn't one single Hadith that reports the prophet's scientific explanation of such information, and the Quran describes the prophet as "unlettered" or illiterate.
Can you post some nice, relatively short hadith Please? some of your favourite, liked hadith, like I mean what the Prophet(SAW) said, did etc. But short ones please
Muslims do you know any site of hadith that actually lists the .....? transmitters? I am trying to better myself and I will no longer take into account any hadith without looking it up for the transmission and I will not ever post a hadith without listing the transmission or a link to it inshallah. I will also inshallah learn even more about the transmitters themselves. I think ppl not having studied the science of hadith has caused too many problems. Any site in English or even in Arabic as I will have my husband help me with it since my Arabic isn't so good. Thank to all Aishah -- I do plan on saving up for the books. I saw one in a used bookstore...might get that one too. thanks not thank but u already knew that LOL help? normally the sites in arabic show up on my computer but the site hfghsshgsfg gave me does not show up...it shows up as that messed up pseudo-cyrillic stuff...any help? Sarah T--actually I am not just talking about ppl here on YA although that is very true. And I am currently taking courses in Isamic Studies (along with other things). Furthermore, yes, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim are usually considered the most reliable of all the collections. But I see lots of ppl quoting other collections. And I have seen first hand somebody take two hadiths from two different books and cut parts out from each and add them together to make a 'hadith' of 3 or 4 sentances and call it a hadith. When I brought it up they told me 'we shouldn't even be discussing this'. also, of course it doesn't make one an expert but it allows ppl to see the chain and come up with their own conclusion--it's the only way to be completely transparent
Controversial question about hadith....... but i have to ask?? Salam Aleikum, Ok here goes. Let me start to say that i do not want to insult anybody here. But this is something i struggle with. Sometimes i accuse Christians of cherry picking when it comes to following their religion. They discard a big part of the OT saying it were old laws. Yet, my esteemed brothers and sisters who follow hadith with out wavering, in my eyes seem to do the same. I will admit, i always question Hadith, because it is man made. Men wrote down and collected the ahadith. I know about Isnad, i've read a lot about it, still i have big problems with most of it; because again it is man made. I make a distinction for myself between the things that numerous people saw the Prophet (PBUH) doing or saying (like prayers) and sayings only recorded by one or maybe 2 persons. Now, here is one hadith that i really do question. Don't tell me please it is a weak hadith, it is recorded in Muslim, and Muslim is considered to be trustworthy, right? Sahih Muslim, Book 8, Number 3425 states: 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained (purbety) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared. Fact is, adult suckling is premitted in hadith. Does this not go to everything else we learned, especially when talking about modesty? Don't say the other wives disputed this. Ayesha said this was ok, and we see her as an great authority. Again, i do not mean to disrespect any one, this is just one example that makes me very uncomfortable with ahadith. It not only goes against the teachings of the Qur'an in my eyes, but also against logic. Peace, Tiffy @Jagoti: i do not claim to have all the knowledge to hadith, i'm not a scholar. How ever, i try to use my common sense. This hadith goes against it. I just try to understand more and better. Some brothers and sisters use ahadith that is considered weak to proof their point. So is it ok to use a hadith that is deemed weak if it is in your interest and discard it if it is not? This is exaclty why i have problems with ahadith. Peace, Tiffy And let me add something here: If some of the ahadith are so clearly fabricated, why not have a commission of wise scholars, go through all of them one by one and weed out the obvious fabricated and weak ones??? Would make live so much easier for all of us! @ Sina, i am not making my own religion. I question and use my brain. I'm sorry if you feel offended here. I asked the same question in R & S. I thought i'd get better answers here, but i've got 2 excellent answers there; backed up with evidence. @ sina2: Well i do not mean to diminish any one or their beliefs. Yet, if i doubt hadith i do get a lot of critisism from people who do follow it. Again, i do not discard all ahadith. I know there are a lot of valuable lessons there and a lot of things we do because of the same ahadith. But i just ask more or less to not take everything at face value, or blindly. Research, ask if things are not clear. That's just my opinion! @ Candace Hadith: also spelled Hadit (Arabic: “news,” or “story”) record of the traditions or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), revered and received as a major source of religious law and moral guidance, second only to the authority of the Qur'an, or scripture of Islam. @page M: "If Quran is complete and fully detailed (as God says), where can we find the details of Salat prayers?" This famous question reveals total ignorance of Quran and a subconscious effort to prove that God is wrong in His repeated assertions that Quran is "complete" and "fully detailed." For the Quran teaches in no uncertain terms that Abraham is the founder of Islam as it is practiced today. As such, what did Abraham contribute to our daily life as Muslims? The Quran teaches that ALL RELIGIOUS PRACTICES IN ISLAM (Salat, Zakat, Fasting & Hajj) CAME TO US FROM ABRAHAM, GENERATION AFTER GENERATION. Thus, Islam in its final form, as is practiced today, is based on two things: (1) QURAN: contributed through Muhammad, and (2) RELIGIOUS PRACTICES: through Abraham. In 2:128 we see Abraham and Ismail implore God to teach them "THE RELIGIOUS PRACTICES OF ISLAM." "As Abraham raised the foundations of Kaaba, together with Ismail, they prayed, 'Our Lord, accept this work from us; you are the hearer, the omniscient. Our Lord, & make us Muslims to you; and from our descendants let there be a nation of Muslims to you; AND TEACH US HOW TO PRACTICE OUR RELIGIOUS DUTIES, and redeem us; you are the redeemer, the merciful.'" (2:127-128) ABRAHAM: FIRST (and last) RECIPIENT OF SPECIFIC RELIGIOUS PRACTICES. The prophets and messengers prior to Abraham were not given any religious practices. The human society was so primitive, only BELIEF IN GOD ALONE was all that is required for salvation. See for example Sura 71, entitled "Noah." Thus, RELIGIOUS PRACTICES appear in Quran ONLY after Abraham; never before him. "(O Children of Israel,) you shall observe the Salat prayers & Zakat charity; you shall bow down with those who bow." (2:43) I can go on, but i will leave it at this. Peace, Tiffy Oh..... and the hadith was NOT talking about the subject of marriagePage M!
Muslims: Are the Hadith fair dinkum or not, and if they are, what online English translation do you accept? A couple of opinions as to their veracity from my previous questions: "You will assurredly find contradictions and mistakes in many Hadith because these were told and placed in volumes many years after the death of Muhammad (saws), and, as we all know, to err is human." "For your knowledge the hadiths were collected by the people who saw Muhammad (PBUH) doing his acts and by those who remained very near to the Prophet. There were a few Hadiths which were doubtful. To confirm its truthfulness, the researchers checked the authenticity and the character of those who narrated the hadith. The search was so crucial and strict that even if a small negligence of the narrator is proved then that hadith was not included in the book of Hadith."
Muslims: Regarding the hadith? Can you tell me - do you read the hadith? Is the hadith important to your faith? (the way you live your life) What version of the hadith do you read? (I would like to buy an English copy of the hadith, but I want the best and most accurate one, which should I buy?) Thank you!
Muslims; are hadith and sunnah synonymous? The QUran says to follow the Sunnah of the prophet. Isn't the Prophet's Sunnah his message of the Quran? ANd I know hadith are important in providing moral lessons; but I do have some reservations when it comes to using them as a source of law..esp. when the law is illogical/oppressive. And if that's so, why don't we follow the Bible and Torah as the Quran has commanded? Do u get my point? Peace.
Muslims: Is Hadith considered authoritative? Obviously many Muslims think it is. But one Muslim gave me an answer saying that Mohammed (pbuh) was the last prophet of God. If that is true, how then can Hadith be authoritative, as being only scholarly opinion, and not revealed truth? Please help me to increase my understanding of Islam. All respectful answers are appreciated. (This question is directed to Muslims! No bashers please!)

Hadith: A question for Muslims? Okay, first of all, I'm saying this as a non-Muslim, but if you've come to answer by saying that Islam is a false religion or Muhammad did this, Muhammad did that... I will report you, because you're not answering my question. This question is intended for Muslims. I already own a Qur'an, but I'm interested in getting a book of Hadith, what would be the best book of Hadith to get? If possible, post an Amazon link to the book in question... Thanks in advance, John S Thank you very much Poki Poki, as always, you have delivered. You are truly a shining light in this darkness of misinformation that surrounds our culture. I wish you the best of luck. Living My Truth: Thank you, but I was not offended, rather, I appreciated that you wished me well, even though I don't practice prayer myself. I do love that saying, and I will try to find what Hadith that comes from.
About the hadith...? Muslims brotehrs and sisters, there is this one muslim guy. (i don't want to mentioned his nick name). He claimed that Bukhari, who compiled the Hadith concerning the life of the prophet is a liar. He says all hadith are frogery and only the quran is thr truth . however we know hadith compiled by bukhari is authentic. so what is your point of view of the statement of that guy ???
Sharia Law & Hadith? I don't hava a problem with true Islam or the Quran but I do hava problem with Hadith and Sharia Law. For instance: 1) According to Sharia law the punishment for adultary is STONING BUT the Quran says that the Adulterers must be Given a number of WHIPS in public. 2) The infamous Hijab issue, Sharia law - the woman is almost completely covered BUT the Quran says that a woman should COVER her BOSSOM and LOWER her garment. It does not say how low or that the woman's face should be covered. Could this be an example that Muslims are more concerned with Hadith? [6:114] Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book FULLY DETAILED? Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt. Also a Hadith-"Do not write down anything of me except the Quran. Whoever writes other than that should delete it" (Ahmed, Vol. 1, page 171.....also Sahih Muslim)
hadith vs Isha ? for my sisters & brothers? My friend and I kind of had a disagreement tonight about a hadith. She was telling me that she was delaying her isha prayer bc it is sunnah to do so. I told her that is not true what so ever and it is actually haram to delay your prayers even Allah says this is the Quran. (who can go agaist that?). She showed me the hadith. I do not think it was right what so ever. I have never heard of such a thing. The only thing I have heard of is doing extra prayers through the night. She said prophet Mohummad (saw) used to delay his isha prayers. But I find this to not be true what so ever. Can others please tell me their thoughts on this. ok so "IF" this is true then why would we have times that we must pray? And why would the mosque not be open all night for people just to come in whenever they want to do their Isha? And why does God not state this is the Quran? He says we should pray all prayers on time and not delay them. Also many strong hadiths state the same.
Ok, bout the "Islamic" hijab ( headscarve) and the hadith ? Muslims ? Aisha said, "Asma, daughter of Abu Bakr (that is, Aisha’s sister), entered upon the Apostle of God (pbuh) wearing thin clothes. The Apostle of God turned his attention from her and said, "O Asma, when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, it does not suit her except that she displays parts of her body except this and this," and he pointed to her face and hands. (Sunan Abi Dawud) This hadith is found only in the hadith collection of Abu Dawud (no. 4095). According to Abu Dawud, it is considered weak because the narrator who transmitted it from Aisha is not known (mursal). This hadith which 99% likely to be untrue has been the sole reason why muslim female have to wear the hijab (headscarves) . The Ulama's of Morocco have decreed that hijab isn't mandated by Islam. Don't talk about the Quran and Hijab, it's not there.Stop misquoting Sura An Nur please. The Q :Why do muslims insist without proof that hijab is Islamic? I'm a muslim btw. And the last time i ask this Q noone answered ,

Muslims, what is the position of Hadith in Islam? In the answer to some of my questions some Muslims say that the Hadith is not as important as the Koran and that it contains many mistakes. Please let me know your opinion about this and tell me the exact position of the Hadith in Islam.
Women Scholars of Hadith? http://www.islamfortoday.com/womenscholars.htm History records few scholarly enterprises, at least before modern times, in which women have played an important and active role side by side with men. The science of hadith forms an outstanding exception in this respect.
Is there any hadith on memorizing Quran? I need a hadith on memorizing the quran
Muslims? About the Hadith???? What revrance do you hold to the Hadith. Where dose it fit into the scheme of things as a Muslim. Is it your Law say like the Tora is to Jews. If you ran a country would your leaders use it as there guide?
another question about hadith? In Sahih Muslim Book 001, Number 0248: Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said to me: they (the people) till constantly ask you, Abu Huraira, (about different things pertaining to religion) the they would say: Well, there is Allah, but after all who created Allah? He (Abu Huraira) narrated: Once we were in the mosque that some of the Bedouins came there and said: Well, there is Allah, but who created Allah? He (the narrator) said: I took hold of the pebbles in my fist and flung at them and remarked: Stand up, stand up (go away) my friend (the Holy Prophet) told the truth. There is no doubt that the Holy Prophet told the truth. But would it not be good to answer with hikmah the question “who created Allah” so that the questioner would understand & be convinced rather than giving the harsh treatment as narrated in the hadith above. I am sure there are many convincing, logical arguments & ways to answer this question. The understanding obtained would surely help to strengthen the questioner’s faith. Q16:125 “Invite to the Way of your Lord with hikmah & fair preaching & argue with them in a way that is better….” Would not the action of the sahabah potray a dogmatic view of Islam?
This extremely weak hadith is accepted by millions of Muslims worldwide ? why? Aisha said, "Asma, daughter of Abu Bakr (that is, Aisha’s sister), entered upon the Apostle of God (pbuh) wearing thin clothes. Can someone explain if my understanding of a "strong" Hadith is correct? I have heard Muslims say there are strong and weak Hadiths. I read that isnad is a "proper support" for a written Hadith. This means (I believe) that there is a chain of people from the person writing the Hadith back to someone who was a companion of Muhammad. Is this the proper definition of a "strong" Hadith and how is it proved that these people spoke to each other and kept the message "pure" (can't think of a better word)? Thank you for your help. Have a great day!
an hadith about the jinn? salam The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said an hadith about the jinn, saying that " jinn are found in a person, as blood circulates in his veins " Does any of you know this hadith in Arabic? thanks I don't know the source, i.e who narrated it. It is reported in a book named "majnun the madman in medieval islamic society".
muhammad hadith? Is it a true and verified hadith that says that Rasoolallah said that near the time of qyamat muslims will be divided into 73 factions of which only one will enter paradise. and this one will correctly follow the way of Allah (swt)like Muhammad and his sahabbas did. something like that. Is this true? if so, how are we supposed to know which one to choose? how are we to know how islam was followed 1400 years ago because every faction thinks they are right and everyone thinks that they are true to the quran and hadith? im confused
A hadith is mentioned below. I could not understand the last part of it .? Volume 8, Book 73, Number 6: Narrated Al-Mughira: The Prophet said, "Allah has forbidden you ( 1 ) to be undutiful to your mothers (2) to withhold (what you should give) or (3) demand (what you do not deserve), and (4) to bury your daughters alive. And Allah has disliked that (A) you talk too much about others ( B), ask too many questions (in religion), or (C) waste your property." The Hadith mentioned above is from Sahih Bukhari. At the last part of this Hadith it is forbidden to ask too many question (in religion). why is it . How one can learn if they don't have any question.
Muslim Hadith Knowledge Anyone? What is the ruling on Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Al-Tirmidhi An-Nawawi's Forty Hadith Forty Hadith Qudsi You can answer on all or only one any way you want your input is valued Insha Allah I will see your replies soon.
? about hadith for Muslims only please!? My friend and I kind of had a disagreement tonight about a hadith. She was telling me that she was delaying her isha prayer bc it is sunnah to do so. Muslims, a hadith question? I remember a hadith where the Prophet was told to have said that you will never be sincere until your insides are so pure that if you turn them outward if will be pleasing to all those who see. Was this a hadith or sura? Thank you
Concerning the Hadith? How much faith do you put in the Hadith? Like the mentioning of the Mahdi has no Quranic basis. And that some of the Hadith Contradict each other. Shouldn't all Muslims only Follow the Quran's teachings?
Read this hadith..and is your toilet sit facing the Qibla? I saw this hadith and thought for a bit.....Alhamdullillaah both toilets in my house are facing to the opposite of the Qiblah. Is this hadith limited to those who are not using restrooms? for example if you are camping out in the woods etc, or those who live in places where they go out to the woods to relieve themselves? Muslim 104 The Prophet said: "When answering the call of nature neither turn your face or back to Mecca." "After excretion the right hand is not to be used, nor is a bone to be used nor camel dung. "Nor should you hold your penis with your right hand while urinating. Nor should you breathe into the vessel from which you drink." seat not sit. Northern: what is so extreme about this hadith? you are mis-using the term extreme. But then you might see it as extreme while we see it as an instruction from Our Beloved Muhammad(saw) the best teacher, the mercy to mankind. Hey maria whadda up?...you are lucky,,the benefits of living in a muslim country:0 even your toilet's are taken care of. InshaAllaah pray for me that I make hijra.
MUSLIMS:The hadith proclaims the story of the Banu Qurayza Jews whose heads were struck off in the trenches? Dont deny what your own hadiths proclaim. The old game of "Dont take that out of context" or "That is not an accepted hadith" Is a bunch of bull. You either believe in Muhammed, the good and the bad, or you are the ignorant ones. Tell me this hadith is not real, and prove it, can you? History records that it did happen, Muhammed ordered the beheading of Jews who were captives? RED DRAGON---Why cant you simply look it up? How did I quote it, if it is not there?
Do you agree with this hadith? “The world is a prison-house for the believer and paradise for a non-believer.” (Narrated in the book of authentic hadith by Muslim.) I agree to some extent, but life can still be very fun even if following Islam very strictly, if anything Islam made my life MORE fun, not less fun! Maria: Yeah, it seems to inspire me, not sure how, but it does :) ----- Thieves: Never did anything, so no reason to go to prison :) KMI: This hadith is not telling us to do anything, it is commenting, if it is not a command, then how are we supposed to follow it? If it was telling me to do something, then I would not ask if people agreed on it :)
Which site offers the daily hadith of the day mailing subscription facility? Please inform me about about all sites which offers daily mail hadith of the day and ayat of the day in urdu or english
Hadith says wrong to look at and even dream of naked women? suicide is the option for such filthy behaviour says sahih bukari in his hadith why is that muslims?
Hadith reveals that Muhammad had to ask forgiveness for sin more than seventy times a day. He was a SINNER??? The Hadith reveals that Muhammad had to ask forgiveness for sin more than seventy times a day. (Bukhari vol. I, nos. 711; 78; vol. V, no. 724) Since Muslims believe that prophets must be sinless, this means that Muhammad was not a prophet and he was a sinner??
According to the Quran and Hadith, did Muhammad ever lie, rob, rape or murder? Plese base your comments on quotes from the Quran and Hadith or other muslim texts.
layla qadr night on 27th? Can you provide hadith? Hello, Mostly people say Layla Qadr night could be on any odd nights of last 10 days of ramadan. But they also say most probable date is 27th. Can you provide which hadith says it will be 27th and why is it not clear that this hadith says maybe?
Why follow these hadith if the quran says to only follow the quran which is perfect? I dont understand why in islam they have hadith and sunna . Muslims say the quran is perfect if in fact it is then why have hadith at all which was written by man after the quran was revealed to Muhamad. Sounds a little hypocriticle to me to say the quran is perfect but yet turn around and follow other books along with the quran. Thank you for responses. It still baffles me that muslims would need something else other than the quran. Its like saying its perfect but we still need something else to tell us exactly what to do. Doesnt make sense at all to me. Alas to each their own. We know right from wrong and hope we all make the right decisions. to smk. the quran says not to worship or idolize anyone or anything other than allah. Isnt doing what muhammed did idolizing someone? There for making hadith and sunnah against the quran the word of allah? truth only- If god had ordered him to write down hadith wouldnt that just contradict the quran which is suppose to contain all the answers anyone would need? IF there are soo many wrong hadith shouldnt that be a red flag not to follow something soo imperfect ?
What is the value of Hadith when we muslims have QURAN E KAREEM? In these days, a lot of people are using Hadith, giving them numbers and page numbers, in all languages. Don't forget, in Islamic world, there are approximately 25000 ethnicities and a lot of languages. not only arabic. If we collect all the sayings of the Prophet pbuh (not translations), and his quotations from other people from him, it adds up to 3000 years of only his talking. it means, a person needs 3000 years long only to deliver orally its contents. I dont mean to provoke anyone, but if we read the Hadith from Sayidina Aisya and Sayidina Fatma we see no melody or aroma of womanly islamic mannerism. Alhamdulillah we have Quran. Thats why my question is, if we have Quran, then why do people quote all the time only Hadith, for e.g about stoning women (Africa). in Quran, there's not a single sentence about stoning as a punishment from human to human. But a lot of people say everyday, the Prophet s.a.w said this and that. who are these people who quote such Hadiths? Are they Muslims?
Hadith on how you live-die-resurrected? I have been trying to find the hadith and who it was recorded by, where it was said that... "a man will die how he lives, and be resurrected how he died". I searched on Google, but I haven't been able to locate it. If anyone could help, it would be great. jazaks, Salams
Hadith about not revealing your sins? I'm trying to find this hadith that says you shouldn't reveal your sins to anybody. Does anyone have it? thanks.
There are many hadith on feet being the Auwra of women in Islam. What is the daleel of those who wear sandals? I really like sandals and flats, but they show your feet. In islam, the hadith says that only the hands and feet can show. Is there any hadith/ ayah that says its permissible to wear open shoes for women? If not, well I'll just take it I guess. :(
Hadith?? Muslim in the White House??? Is there a Hadith that says something to the effect that the last day will not come until there is a Muslim in the "white house." or something to that effect? I thought I heard Hamza Yusuf mention something to this effect many years ago closing a speech. Please any knowledgeable Muslims please reply. Thanks... thanks for the effort Poppy but maybe there could be a "weaker" hadith like ahmad or tirmidhi etc... I am almost certain Hamza Yusuf said this statement but do not know what he meant by it??? Still, I appreciate your effort : ) Sheep with Shotguns we need more open minded people like you : )
about hadith? There is a hadith in Sahih Bukhari regarding the revelation of the verse: 'But give them preference over themselves even though they were in need of that.' (59.9). Allah is pleased by the sahabah & wife that they and their children slept without food in order to entertain their visitor. The sahabah & wife did indeed makes a noble sacrifice. However a few questions has been raised regarding this incident: a)Why did not the sahabah check with his wife that there is enough food, as the Rasul did, before volunteering to take the visitor? What about there has been no food at all in the home? Does it not reflect a poor family communication? b)It is ok for the sahabah & wife to go hungry for the nite. But to make the children suffer is it not too much? Is not the responsibility of a man is first to his family, than entertaining a guest? c)Why did the sahabah did not borrow or buy food in the situation? Could you help to clarify them?
Selling Hadith Books On eBay? I came into possession of two complete collections of hadith books: Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. They were bought new in 1992 and have been kept in fairly good condition since then, though some one wrote notes on a few pages. Overall, the books are in good condition. I checked online and discovered that both volumes bought new at the same time, would cost $138, plus shipping. I was thinking about selling them for $65, plus shipping, on eBay. Is it likely that I would find a buyer?
Questions about Hadith and Marriage answers from a Muslima please.? I would like to ask some Muslima sisters about Hadith and Marriage issues, and the acutal marriage contract.

If this is a hadith can someone please tell me who narrated it. thanks Thank you sooo much Jenn that was what I was looking for and thanx Muhammad for answering it helped me too

What is the Hadith and what does it contain? I am curious about the Hadith. Most Muslems talk about the Koran but not the Hadith.
Muslims; your thoughts on this Hadith? Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم stated: "My Nation will be divided to 70 plus sect, all in Hell-fire except one" This hadith is in The Sunna's Sahih Al Bukhari (Hadith 2650) an Al Kafi's Shia Hadith book; (1433), How can you be so sure that you're the ONE sect exempted of hell-fire?
Muslim help!! Is it a true hadith or false?? I read this hadith but i don't know who reported and I don't know it's a true hadith or not. "Conduct yourself in this world, as if you are here to stay forever; prepare for eternity as if you have to die tomorrow." If that's a true hadith, what do you do to keep it in balance? Jazakumullah...
Hadith about scaring other on purpose? My son asked me today if there is a hadith about how it is haram to scare others on purpose, I tried to research it but I could not find anything, do any of you know what he might be thinking about? I guess I should make myself a little more clear for some, he has a friend that is always jumping out and trying to scare people, one day he did so outside of the masjid and Imam told them that it was haram and explained it to them but you know children sometimes only heard bits and peices of what you say... History Bravo to you for stating things like that in a question for a child, do you not have any common since that a child would be reading this, NICE! Jazak Allah Khair to all of those who actually tried and or are trying to answer this for me it means a lot to my son.

I have a question about a hadith.? O.K. I heard a man at a local masjid say that there is a hadith that states a man could not grow a beard. All he could grow on his chin were three small hairs but he never cut them BUT one day he did. So the man visited the Prophet (saw) but the prophet (saw) said he would not talk to that man because he cut his beard. Can anyone tell me if this hadith is authentic and if it is then where is it written? for example Bukhari, qudsi etc.
Want to share a Hadith would you like to hear one? first I had to put it in a question so it wouldnt get deleted anyways here is the hadith I hope you enjoy it, it made me cry. The Compasion of the Prophet: The Daughter of the Prophet (Pbuh) sent a message to him, saying, "We think my daughter is dying, so please come see us." The Prophet sent her his greetings and this message: "It is up to God what God takes and what God gives; and all things are finite in God's perspective. So let her endure patiently in anticipation of God's reward." But his daughter sent him another message, adjuring him to come. SO the Prophet (pbuh)rose. The child was placed in the Prophet's (pbuh) lap, her breath ratling, and the Prophet's (pbuh) eyes overlfowed with tears. "What is this, O messenger of God?" ased sa'd, one of the companions. The Prophet Said (pbuh), "this the compassion placed by God in the hearts of those of God's slaves whom God wishes to be compassionate. . And God does not show compassion to any of God's slaves except the compassionate ones." Book 4 : Hadith 2008 @ zameensa can u transulate please? @jenn thanks so much :) @Imran Ayub wow thanks so much and thank u for sharing that I love all the prophets Ibrahim I admire him a lot n that made me cry thanks for sharing Jazakha'allah Khair :)
What does this hadith mean to you? Sahih Muslim Book 004, Number 2127 Why is it, O 'A'isha, that you are out of breath? I said: There is nothing. He said: Tell me or the Subtle and the Aware would inform me. I said: Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransom for you, and then I told him (the whole story). He said: Was it the darkness (of your shadow) that I saw in front of me? I said: Yes. He struck me on the chest which caused me pain... What conclusions do you from from this hadith?
Question about Hadith...? "If a donkey, a black dog or a woman passes in front of a praying person, his prayer is nullified." Sahih Bukhari, 8/102; Hanbal 4/86 (Distraction - I know. It's already been explained to me.) Is there a similiar Hadith that says a woman's prayer will be nullified if a man walks in front of her?
Aisha and the Hadith.........? Does anyone know the exact number of hadith that are believed to be written by Aisha? I saw this somewhere and can't remember where I read it, but it was a significant number I believe. Thanks Why wouldn't she be credible? It is some of her narrating isn't it?
Sahih-Al-Bukhari Hadith--Fasting forbidden on Eid? Can someone please give me a hadith from Sahih-ul-Bukhari explaining why fasting is forbidden on the day of Eid? I've been looking for a while now and can't find one. Thanks!
Opinion on interpretation on hadith? In Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 54, Number 460: It is stated: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "If a husband calls his wife to his bed (i.e. to have sexual relation) and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning." I have heard one Muslim speaker who contended that according to the Arabic grammar the pronouns in here and other similar hadiths, are general and applies to both sexes i.e the hadith should be more accurately be translated as "If a person calls his/her spouse to his/her bed ....."(perhaps like the word assalamualaikum refers to both sexes & not just to males) This would be in line to Islamic justice and the order to treat the wife fairly and to fulfill her needs. Is this interpretation correct?
Which "Surah/Ayat" or "Hadith" do you think is responsible for the genesis of Islamic terrorism? I've heard that there are certain verses in the Koran and also some Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which exhort Muslims to die for the cause of Allah or any other noble cause. Can you please enlighten me in this regard?
Muslims - looking for certain Hadith or ayat? Assalamu alaikum! I'm trying to find a story I heard a while back, but I'm not sure if it was Hadith or from Quran. It was about the man who spent all of his days in worship and when he died, Allah threw him to hell. He didn't understand and asked God why and He explained to him that although he had been so devoted to God, he rejected his other duties in life (wife, family, work, etc.). He then understood in his heart and asked for forgiveness and Allah saved him from the flames. Does anyone know where to find this story? J.A.K.
