Did prophet Muhammed try to kill a man without solid evidence?
I read in Muslim [4975] and also in Musnad Ahmed [13478] a story about prophet Muhammed who had a concubine (sex slave) named Maria and he had a son from her, but people told the prophet that she might had that son from a sexual relationship with one of her relatives; therefore, prophet Muhammed sent his devoted cousin (Ali Ibn Talib) to KILL the man. Fortunately, when Ali caught the man and started to slaughter him, the man defended himself by showing Ali that he had no penis. Therefore, Ali came back to prophet Muhammed and told him that he did not kill the man because he had no penis. My questions are: (1) I thought in Islam you can't kill someone for adultery (he was bachelor and therefore the maximum sentence should be lashing). (2) Even if the man was supposed to be killed, I thought to kill someone you need four witnesses like what Quran said. (3) I thought prophet Muhammed had a very good relationship with god to know from the beginning that the man had no penis.

- where is your evidence to this .. tell me your source.. all what you said is 100% wrong wrong ... first.. when prophet muhammed sent a letter to the king of egypt offering him the new relegion .. the king of egypt accepted and sent him gifts .. one of these gifts was maria (the christian) .. prophet muhammed honoured her . let her free, and married her ... what you said after that is completely wrong .. i never heared about it and no one ever heared about it... stop making up lies about islam ...
- THE STORY IS OFF. Its one of those hadiths that lack A LOT OF information. IF I RECALL CORRECTLY, Ali was not sent to kill the man.. he was sent to find out more about what happend, to apprehend the man and question him -- when he went, the man told Ali he was a eunuch. 1) Married adulterer - death, Unmarried - lashes 2) Four witnesses UNLESS the person confesses 3) He was a Prophet (pbuh) yet he had to function as a man amongst the people -- Its a balance that Allah allowed him to perfectly have. At some times, he said things on his own accord, and on many times, he received wisdom from God (usually via Gabriel). SO BASICALLY, YOUR STORY IS NOT RIGHT, AND THE 3 RULES STILL STAND. For next time, don't spread false rumours about anything until you can back it up with quotes, etc.

- First of all, the "sex slave" was his wife... Your whole story is questionable and weak... you obviously know nothing about Islamic history or law, and probably copied all the above from some Israeli website... Why would the Prophet send his cousin Ali, was he his private assasin or something (and here, you'll tell us it's not the first time, will you not??!)... the prophet ruled the Muslim world, and he had enough power to bring that man to justice (if the story was true to start of with) and have a trial and get him punished in front of everybody... I'll still give you the benefit of the doubt here, and assume that your question is innocent and honest.... you must realize that half of what's in the books that you have cited is faulty (it might be more like 3/4 of the content)... people tried to collect anything and everything that was said about the prophet, around 200-300 years after his death, without questioning the validity of the source or the story.... no one in Islam would take one of these stories narrated in these books as the absolute truth... you have to, before citing any of these, prove that the sources were totally reliable and that the story is supported by other historical incidents or evidence... so, even if the story you qoute is really in these books (which I doubt), you should totally question its validity and correctness.... and honestly, for someone who wants us to believe that you're delivering the truth, and that you actually read the books above, did you just ignore the THOUSANDS of beautiful stories about the prophet that show his generosity, kindness, justice, patience, etc., and picked this one to prove a malicious point???!
