Did prophet Muhammed try to kill people in the most holy place for Muslims?

Islamic history tells that when prophet Muahmemd conquered Mecca, he gave a list of 10 names for people whom should be killed wherever they were found, even if they were inside Ka'aba (the most holy place for Msulims). Among those people there were two concubines of one of his enemies whom his reason for killing them was that they used to sing songs that insulted him. Among them also a Muslim man who converted back to Paganism (I will ask about him in a later question). My questions here are regarding those two poor concubines (slaves) of one of prophet Muhammed's enemies: 1- Why did prophet Muhamemd want to kill those two girls just for singing some songs that insulted him? was insulting him considered a crime that should be punished by killiing? 2- Why did not prophet Muhammed give any consideration that those two girls were just slaves who had to carry out the orders they receive from their master? 3- Why did not prophet Muhammed even try to punish their master? More questions: 4- Why did prophet Muhammed violate the Quranic verse [3:97] that whoever enters the Ka'aba should be immuned from any revenge? Abdul: Not knowing the story does not mean it is a lie. The story is mentioned in ALL Islamic history books, including Ibn Hisham, Ibn Ishak, Al Rawd Al Anf, and others. You can even read some of those books online (in Arabic): http://sirah.al-islam.com/display.asp?f=hes2520.htm http://sirah.al-islam.com/display.asp?f=rwd4086.htm Good reading

  1. your story tells lies from start to finish. do you feel threatened by islam that you have to lie against the prophet. Sincere people read about the prophet muhammad from independent sources and see that he was a good person. I meet many converts in the mosque who say they converted to islam as i did after reading the biography of the Prophet Muhammad
  2. Aal-e-Imran | 200 verses | The family of Imran سورة آل عمران Sura #3 | Madina Madina 97 Wherein are plain memorials (of Allah's guidance); the place where Abraham stood up to pray; and whosoever entereth it is safe. And pilgrimage to the House is a duty unto Allah for mankind, for him who can find a way thither. As for him who disbelieveth, (let him know that) lo! Allah is Independent of (all) creatures. Allah asks u to treat theidolators fairly and if they are really bad, Allah says do not be opressed but also do not transgress limits when u are in a just fight. so by now u must have known that pagans were idolators, collected taxes, used women as sexual object and slaves and 2nd class citizens and never had respect for any person esp slaves. such people are to be persecuted in islam. the sacred months here refers to the treaty of hudaibiyah. slay the idolators who worship false Gods and statues. does not the torah say this when the people worshipped the calf when moses-pbuh was given revelations(10 commandments). does not the bible mention it when the people of Abraham-pbuh worshipped idols. now i have given u definition but u should also know how and when it happened, right. and u must also know what actually happened. In 628 the Meccan tribe of Quraish and the Muslim community in Medina signed a truce called the Treaty of Hudaybiyya. Despite improved relations between Mecca and Medina after the signing of the Treaty of Hudaybiyya, a 10 year peace was to be broken by Quraish who, with their allies, the tribe of Bakr, attacked the tribe of Khuza'ah who were allies of the Muslims and it was possibly not known to the Pagan tribes at the time. However, the treaty was deemed broken. Abu Sufyan, the leader of the Quraish in Mecca, was aware that the balances were now tilted in Muhammad's-pbuh favour, went to Medina to restore the treaty but Muhammad-pbuh refused to accommodate him and Abu Sufyan returned to Mecca empty handed. An approximately 10,000 strong Muslim army marched towards Mecca which soon surrendered peacefully. Muhammad-pbuh acted generously to the Meccans, demanding only that the pagan idols around the Kaaba be destroyed. Abu Sufyan converted to Islam and Muhammad -pbuh announced "Who enters the house of Abu Sufyan will be safe, who lays down arms will be safe, who locks his door will be safe". ok ill explain in detail. The truce of Hudaybiyya -- Main article: Treaty of Hudaybiya Although revelation (2:196-2:210) about the performing of Hajj had already come, Muhammad-pbuh and Muslims did not do it due to the enmity of the Quraish. It was the month of Shawwal 6 A.H. when Muhammad -pbuh saw in a vision that he was shaving his head after the Hajj. [10][11] Muhammad-pbuh therefore decided to perform the Haj in the following month. Hence around the 13th of March, 628 with 1400 Companions he went towards Medina without the least intention of giving a battle.[12] But the Quraish were determined to offer resistance to Muslims and they posted themselves outside Mecca, closing all access to the city. [12]. In order to settle the dispute peacefully Muhammad-pbuh halted at a placed called Hudaybiyya. Hence after series of talks a treaty was signed. The main points of treaty were the following. They have agreed to lay down the burden of war for ten years [13][14] Muhammad-pbuh, should not perform Hajj this year [13] [15] They may come next year to perform Haj (unarmed) but shall not stay in Mecca for more than three days [13] [15] Any Muslim living in Mecca cannot settle in Medina but Medina Muslim may come and join Meccans (and will not be returned). [16] Many of Muslims were not satisfied with the terms the treaty is made. However, on the way to Madina, God revealed the Prophet a new chapter of Quran named "Al-Fath" (The victory) 48:1-48:29. The new Revelation left no doubt in Muslims' minds that the expedition from which they were now returning must be considered as vitorious one. [17][18]. With the passage of time it become more and more apparent why the Koran had declared the truce a victory. The men of Mecca and Medina could now meet in peace and discuss Islam hence during the following two years the community of Islam was more than doubled.[19] [20] [21] The truce of Hudaybiyya had been in force since two years. [28][29]. The tribe of Khuz'aah was in friendly relationship with Muhammad, while on the other hand their enemies, Banu Bakr had aliance with Meccans.[28][30] A clan of Bakr made a night raid against Khuz'aah, killing few of them [28][30]. Meccans helped their allies (i.e. Banu Bakr) with weapons and according to some sources few Meccans also took part in the fighting [28]. After the fighting Muhammad offered Meccans following three conditions[31]. The Meccans were to pay blood-money for those slain among Khuza'ah tribe. Or They should have nothing to do with Banu Bakr. Or They should declare the truce of Hudaybiyya null. The Meccan replied that they would accept only the third condition[31]. However, soon they realized their mistake and sent Abu Safyan to renew the Hudaybiyya treaty, but now his request was declined by Muhammad-pbuh. Muhammad-pbuh began to prepare for a campaign The pagans of Mecca hoping to profit by the Muslim difficulties, violated the terms of their treaty. Upon this, the Prophet himself led an army, ten thousand strong, and surprised Mecca which he occupied in a bloodless manner. As a benevolent conqueror, he caused the vanquished people to assemble, reminded them of their ill deeds, their religious persecution, unjust confiscation of the evacuee property, ceaseless invasions and senseless hostilities for twenty years continuously. He asked them: "Now what do you expect of me?" When everybody lowered his head with shame, the Prophet proclaimed: "May God pardon you; go in peace; there shall be no responsibility on you today; you are free!" He even renounced the claim for the Muslim property confiscated by the pagans. This produced a great psychological change of hearts instantaneously. When a Meccan chief advanced with a fulsome heart towards the Prophet, after hearing this general amnesty, in order to declare his acceptance of Islam, the Prophet told him: "And in my turn, I appoint you the governor of Mecca!" may the peace and blessings of Allah be with u and may He guide u in the right way.
