Did prophet Muhammed CURSE Jews and Chrsitians?
There are many prophetic statements told by prophet Muhammed where he CURSED Jews and Christians because they used to bury their deads in synagogs and churches. I wonder why did prophet Muhammed CURSE someone for doing something he believes is right. I do not think that burying deads in a church should harm anybody. So, what was the real reason for prophet Muhammed to CURSE Jews and Christians? - The prophet did not curse anyone. Cursing wasnt even apart of his dictionary. He might have warned people that God wud curse them, but thats not the same thing. As for burying dead people in churches and synagogues, God says one thing over and over in the Quran, worship me and no one else and do good deeds. Now under this premise, the event of burying dead people in worshipping grounds gave the idea that they might be used as mediums to pray to God. Knowing the supersitious nature of men, the prophet was warned against this kind of behaviour, so they may not taint their belief in God with creature worship. And that is a huge sin in Islam and monotheism in general. You cannot hold creatures as mediums to God. So the people needed to be warned. EDIT: I can read Arabic and it EXPLICITLY says: God curses the jews and christians who bury their dead in synagogues and churches...etc Or did you ignore that on purpose?
- Prophet Muhammed did not curse anybody.
- Prophet Muhammed has NEVER EVER cursed anyone esp not his peers--he loved all the prophets thru who he has learnt so much-he loved and forgave even his worse enemies--show me the verses where he has cursed them--infact our muslim men are allowed to marry the women of the book--namely jews and christian.
- Even worse if it was Allah that cursed them.
