Is it fair killing gays in islamic countries?
as many of u know in many islamic countries it is illegal for men to be in love!! and they will be killed by the government... do u think they are allowed to do trhat with gays?!

- I don't care whose country it is, or what their laws are--it is barbaric and wrong. If we can invade one country to bring 'democracy' to it, surely this is reason enough to invade another. I am so tired of arguments by reference to cultural relativity when it comes to murder and rape and other such crimes. The Marquis de Sade made these same type of arguments to justify his depraved practives.

- It's their country, their supreme leaders make the laws. Is it fair? No, it's hypocrisy. They make their women inaccessible, so that the men turn to each other for sex, then they condemn that, too, or at least the leaders, who can have all the women and all the sex they want, do. They even mutilate their women so that they can't enjoy sex as much and therefore aren't motivated to help their husbands enjoy sex with them. What a miserable, self-defeating life.

- They are allowed to do it in *their own country*. Is it right? Not ethically, no; but they think it is.... ethics and morals tread very fine lines, my son. We learn them from our parents and those around us when we are small and they learn them from their parents ad infinitum.... It takes a great deal of free thinking to go outside the Box so to speak -- one can get oneself killed for doing so.

I would also note that through the history of Islam homosexuality was well tolerated, albeit a slightly different version than there was in the West.
