I am interested in banking and finance industry namely the Islamic banking and finance?

Currently I hold a diploma in nursing and working in clinic full-time. Recently i have been thinking on a career switch to islamic banking and finance. How do i go about in obtaining a degree in islamic banking? Are there recognised and reliable institutes in Singapore offering such courses? Or do i have to get the normal banking and finance degree before diverting to Islamic banking?

1. unfortunately there is no degree in singapore on islamic banking. you can just take a business degree and major in banking and finance. after earning the degree you can work in the many islamic banks in Singapore or around the region
2. I would look into a degree in international finance, regardless of what your geographic focus its important to know how banks affect each other, and international finance is a fairly common major.
3. i don't think there are any degree for Islamic banking, i guess you have to take the normal degree in Banking & Finance, maybe you can try go to Brookes Business School that i found on 88db, then perhaps you get a job at a bank which practice the Islamic banking....good luck
