  5. You did not specify what you wanted to ask. But in general I would point out some clauses (which are woman's rights) which are usually ignored by Muslims . First one is the dowry (from the husband to the wife). In some areas, it is considerd just as a formality and only a dummy amount is put in. This is one big right of the woman and something like her own personal asset. She has a right to claim it. it can even be put in as a variable amount like for example some percentage of a fixed share in husband's income or a property etc. Second thing is the right of comforts in daily life. By mutual consent, clauses like a cetain monthly expense (for herself alone) or services of a hired help (if affordable and agreed by the husband) can be put in. Third, is the right to divorce. Please note this is in addition to the khula right that she has in any case. But sometimes in some countries where legal proceedings are tedious and not very helpful, this can come in useful in case there are issues of grave nature. I would just like to add that these are all practical matters and important for security of the woman but what makes a marriage work and which is most important is mutual consent and later mutual respect, affection and understanding.
