- Allah says:“Indeed, in this [Quran] is notification for a worshipping people. And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” [Quran: 21:106-107] Allaah’s Messenger (saw)) was particularly compassionate towards children. When he saw a child crying, he sat beside him or her and shared his or her feelings. He felt the pain of a mother for her child more than the mother herself. Once he said: “I stand in prayer and wish to prolong it. However, I hear the cry of a child and cut the prayer short for the anxiety which the mother is feeling.” [Al-Bukhaari] He would take children in his arms and embrace them. He was once hugging his beloved grandsons, Hasan and Husayn, when Aqrah bin Haabis told him, ‘I have got ten children. So far, I have not kissed any of them.’ Allaah’s Messenger (p.b.u.h.) responded: “The one with no pity for others is not pitied.” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] ~!
- i can give u more and more hadeeses for kindnees of our sallalah o alaihi o sallam Narrated Ata bin Yasar: I met Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As and asked him, "Tell me about the description of Allah's Apostle which is mentioned in Torah (i.e. Old Testament.") He replied, 'Yes. By Allah, he is described in Torah with some of the qualities attributed to him in the Quran as follows: "O Prophet ! We have sent you as a witness (for Allah's True religion) And a giver of glad tidings (to the faithful believers), And a warner (to the unbelievers) And guardian of the illiterates. You are My slave and My messenger (i.e. Apostle). I have named you "Al-Mutawakkil" (who depends upon Allah). You are neither discourteous, harsh Nor a noise-maker in the markets And you do not do evil to those Who do evil to you, but you deal With them with forgiveness and kindness. Allah will not let him (the Prophet) Die till he makes straight the crooked people by making them say: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah," With which will be opened blind eyes And deaf ears and enveloped hearts."
- Ibn Shihab said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) went on the expedition of the conquest of Makkah along with the Hunain, and Allah granted victory to his religion and to the Muslims. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) gave one hundred camels to Safwan bin Umayyah. He again gave him one hundred camels, and then again one hundred camels. Sa'id bin Musaiyab said that Safwan told him: "By Allah, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) gave me what he gave me and he was the most hated man to me. But he continued giving me until he became the dearest man to me."
- I don't remember the exact words of the Hadeeth but this is one story that melts the hearts. A non Muslim provoked the camel the Prophets (sa) daughter was riding on while pregnant. She fell off the camel and as a result had a miscarriage, killing the Prophets (sa) unborn grandchild. A short time later, due to the injuries sustained by the fall, the Prophets (sa) daughter died as well. When the man came to the Prophet (sa) and asked him for forgiveness, the Prophet (sa) did not reject him, and did forgive him of his crime. This beautiful Prophet (sa) of ours forgave the very man who killed his daughter and grand child. May Allah exalt him to the highest of heavens, Insha'allah.
- The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If one of you loves his brother, he should tell him that he loves him." - Imam Bukhari's Book of Muslim Morals and Manners The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would hear the crying of a child in the company of his mother during payer, and he would then recite only a short portion of the Quran (to end the prayer and let the mother comfort her child)." - Sahih Muslim, Hadith 220 The Prophet (pbuh) said: "The most perfect in faith amongst believers is he who is best in manner and kindest to his wife." As he carried his grandson on his shoulders, the Prophet was heard to say: "O God! I love him, so You love him too." Imam Bukhari's Book of Muslim Morals and Manners. Abû Hurayrah relates that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak a good word or remain silent. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest.” [ Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim ] "We were on a journey with the Prophet(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam), and he left us for a while. During his absence, we saw a bird called hummara with its two young and took the young ones. The mother bird was circling above us in the air, beating its wings in grief, when the Prophet((sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam), came back and said: "Who has hurt the FEELINGS of this bird by taking its young? Return them to her." (Narrated by Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah bin Mas'ud- Muslim
