What is the difference between the Hadith and the Quaran?

- Hadith is about the life of Prophet Mohammad pbuh and in Quran is what Allah says about different things.
- Koran is Allah's words. hadith is prophet Muhammad[pbuh] words.
- Quran is the word of Allah. What ever is been said by Allah is in the Quran. Hadith : the words of Muhammad(p.b.u.h.) anything being said by Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) is know as Hadith ~!
- They go hand in hand. the Hadith gives elaborate definitions and instructions on the Qur'aan. You cant leave one and believe in the other. In the hadiths you find answers to the commandments of the Qur'aan and explanations of the stories in the Qur'aan. Hadith has also the example of the prophet(saw) and how he practiced the Qur'aan. so they go hand in hand, there is no difference between them except that Qur'aan is word of God and hadith is Prophet Muhammad's sayings.

- The Quran is the speech of Allah/God and the original source for Islamic law. Hadith is the secondary source for Islamic Law this is the words, actions or what the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not reject. So hadith can be any of the three and Quran comes first then hadith.

The Hadiths or Sunnah are sayings, and actions of Muhammad(SAW) that help clear up any misconceptions in the Qur'an). The most authentic Hadiths are those recorded by Bukari and are classified as weak(those done by liars) and strong(those made by Aisha the child wife of Muhammad(SAW) and his closest companions.
