Muslims: Which Hadith is the most reliable one to read and follow.?
I want to start reading the Hadith, but I view it as the Gospel, its different point most of views and people wrote it, which one is the famous one and that the majority of people follow it.

- A hadith consist of two main parts the SANAD and the MATN. The sanad: the chain of narrator's of the saying of the Prophet (saw). The matn: the text or hadith of what the prophet (saw) actually said or did. hadiths are divided into two main categories (sahih and da'if) sahih: all narrator's fulfill the following 3 conditions, the hadith is classified as an accurate saying or action of the prophet (saw) and named a sahih. 1. narrators must be truthful 2. they must have good memories or wrote down what they heard 3. they must have met one another da'if is if the narrator was known to have faults 1. if they were known to lie 2. have a bad memory 3. known to not met who they are talking about OK hope that helped bc my fingers hurt from typing, lol..
- Please don't listen to people who say Sahih Bukhari and Muslim because there is a misconception that these collections are completely reliable, perfect, when they are not. The reality is that they are 'considered' (not proven) by the majority of 'Sunni' scholars to be the 'most' reliable books, but if you start reading it you soon realise it has quite a bit of BS and contradictions. In Islam there are no 100% perfect hadith collections with us - only the Quran is perfect. If I were to recommend anything it would be good to read Nahjul Balagha if you know Islam and Islamic History in detail, else it's better to become better acquainted with the Quran and modern books that talk about the religion instead.
