Why do the same people that despise the US for invading Islamic countries expect them to invade Darfur?
And if they did so, would the same people protest that they are meddling in Muslim issues and have no right to be there. Just for the record I’m not pro war Nokia - Bush is not my boy, I am from the UK, and as I stated not pro-war, just not pro-hypocrite either.

- the US or the UN?
- Darfur is different i guess. The Janjaweed are brutal murderers who kill and rape christians. Iraq is about oil, there is not really another reason
- Things that make you go hmmmmmm....... I find it interesting the ones screaming about the war in the middle east are so quick to want to send our troops to Darfur. What I've surmised is that they aren't against war as much as they are against the war because it is not where they want it to be.
- Because your boy bush used liberating the people of iraq as one of his many excuses for invading. Why don't you hypocrites care about the people of darfur? Or are you flip flopping and claiming to care about people in africa all of a sudden?
- Perhaps they should concentrate on putting their own house in order?
- Unfortunately because some people make a profession out of disagreeing with everything the US does. Good question though - have a star.
- no ones asking for an invasion in darfur. there is a petition to enact a U.N. enforced no-fly zone over darfur so that the sudan government can no longer use gunships to murder its citizens. no ones asking for an invasion, just something to slow down the bloodshed.
- U.S should just state that they dont care, neither do any of you here really. It's nice to think that you care, that you are a decent person, that you are a humanitarian. When it comes down to it though you dont really give a shit. We should just take sides, those who care and those who dont, if u care u ought to do something, if u dont then stop talking about it. Rather than blabbing on and on about it when the truth is the thought of darfur probably popped up when u are taking a shiit and u picked up the year old times magazine.
- I could reverse the question and ask why all who supported the islamic invasion dont support Dafur invasion??
- I am against the war in Iraq but support all our troops 100%. We live in a cruel world people seem to want to kill for the sake of it.The people in Darfur need help.Do not believe another war will help.
- Because some people claim that the war in Iraq was done partly for humanitarian purposes, which we all know is an obvious lie. If the war was for humanitarian purposes, then there would have been intervention in other countries, such as Darfur. If there was oil in Darfur, the Bush and his cronies would be there in a second.
- OMG, the answers that expect the UN to do something????? UN is completely useless. If someone needs help, they know who to call. North Korea ships being attacked by pirates, who helps, yes, the US. They need food? Guess who sends it, yes, the US. Earthquake in Iran? yep, you guessed it, US sends aid. The US pays 25% of the UN budget, which is really messed up. The UN is biggest waste of taxpayer dollars in the United States.
- Excellent question !! Unfortunately, the same PC Brigade answers from many people !!
- One is an invasion, uninvited, to steal oil. The other is a request to go to the aid of innocent people, being murdered daily by shit wankers, but there s no oil and no profit.
- It is not the point that they are Islamic countries, it is the fact that their are foreign troops on the Holy Land. The fact that the troops are just there causes the problem in the first place (first Iraq war) then they became an invasion force (second Iraq war) which has just uped the ante so much. Sudan is Africa, and so there is not the same issue.
- It's called can't do right for doing wrong. If US does then you will hear the wails of "you didn't oughta 'ave done it!" from the same mob
