Would a future Islamic UK be a better place than existing Islamic countries?

8. You probably are expecting majority to say "NO" or bash Islam. But in my opinion, does religion really matter. I don't see UK to be an Islamic state in my life time & I am pretty young guy. So why even worry about this question? To make a country Islamic, the majority living in it must be muslim & also those muslims have to agree to give the state an Islamic status. I don't see it happening.

If the UK completely adopted Islam as its primary religion, the UK would become very much like other Islamic countries except the weather would be regular British weather. In all honesty I'm not an authority on Islam but I understand it to be a fundamentalist religion and the modern conveniences we enjoy at the moment would very likely be limited. Holidays would be changed and the economy would suffer due to the lack of presents and cards being bought. The only way this is going to happen is with the blessing of the people (highly unlikely) but there would be peace. The environment would probably benefit. I imagine I would have emigrated to Australia, I don't believe in fundamentalism. The future of the UK is in our hands, it is up to us to take responsibility for how it turns out. If we want to make a change we need to work together.

19. It will never happen. Dispite the hysteria, Islam is in a small minority here. Those that have been speaking up for Sharia law have only been doing it for cases where all parties are muslim, and by way of getting extra religious rights for their own religion by the back door.

Surely,people will lose their lives because of a massive change in culture which the greater majority of people did not want or even asked if it was alright for hordes of immigrants to come here and rape every facility our forebears fought for the right to be ours. No, this is unfair and until people take a solid stance for their country and hard earned rights, the problem will just get worse and you definitely will lose your country to the slime who have the gaul to call themselves human beings.
