- i guess its harder here in America because unislamic things are everywhere but i think I'm a good Muslim and i grew up in America. i really dont know
- i had to leave cuz of that d*khed saddam !!!!!!!!
- What is a good muslim?
- good question. well i was born and raised here in America and I think I'm a perfectly good Muslim. I wear hijab, cover, don't talk to non-mehram guys, know what is right and wrong in Islam...but it can be the EXACT opposite for some kids. I think it's whether your parents taught you well and it also depends how much you get Islam. Some parents try to explain Islam to their kids, but kids just don't want to listen. Fortunately, i DID get it. :D Thanks to Allah good question :) peace
- Hmmm I think It depends on how good your family brings you up. Within my family religion wasn't emphasised enough (still isn't) hence I rebelled and lost my way, BUT Alhamdulillah later on I found the true path again. In our time there is not a country which is really a Muslim country =) One can practise their faith anywhere.
- It really depends on the family alot too. My cousins, they have been living in Canada for their whole life, and they offer salat 5 times a day, wears hijab and have much Knowledge of Islam than the muslims living in their home country which is a muslim country. I have seen thousand times better muslims living in the west than the muslims living in the muslim countries. So it really depends on the upbringing ~!
- i don't really know if i am a good Muslim or not, because that's only for Allah (SWT) to decide. however, i think i would have been a better muslim if i grew up in a country that has a high percentage of Muslims although, its only an assumption that i think. you don't really know if you could be a bad or good Muslim. as long you have faith then that should be the only thing that matters.
- To be honest, I think it's more of a test for Muslims living in Non-Muslim countries because they have everything available to them - Alcohol, Drugs, Night Clubs, Bars, Gambling shops...everything you can imagine. Shaytan is everywhere , trying to lure us. Those that are strong and fight Shaytan have a strong Iman. I think my Iman becamse stronger after living in a non-Muslim country. Also, in a non-muslim country, we do not have the Athan to call us to prayer like they do in muslim countries. So we have to read from a timetable and pray ourselves without any call. I was raised in the UK , I'm not a perfect Muslim but I'm trying my hardest to be good.
- they are trying to make a living because circumstances in their own countries arent as good as they are in yours... what if you were born in a disadvantaged country but had the chance to get out and do better for yourself? you would take it wouldnt you?
- ALLAH is every where d u know MURAD HOFFMAN???? Biography Dr. Hofmann was born a Catholic, but converted to Islam in 1980. His conversion was met with some controversy due to his high profile in the German government[1]. He converted to Islam as a result of what he witnessed in the Algerian War of Independence, his fondness for Islamic art, and what he saw as contradictions in Paulist Christian doctrine.[2] Dr. Hofmann served in the German Foreign Service from 1961 to 1994.[3] He first served in Algeria as a specialist on issues concerning nuclear defense. He went on to serve as Director of Information for NATO at Brussels from 1983 to 1987, Ambassador to Algeria from 1987 to 1990, and Ambassador to Morocco from 1990 to 1994.[4] He currently lives with his Turkish wife in Istanbul, Turkey.[1] Dr. Hofmann was an honorary member and advisor to the Central Council of Muslims in Germany.[
- It is because they have no controll over there kids, at some point they were to busy with their own lives and something went wrong they think that is the only way to save there children. I believe that if u r a good parent and no Islam u can raise them anywhere where it is in America, Africa in the jungle, overseas.
- It is hard to raise good Muslim kids period and there are certainly pros & cons no matter where you raise your kids. There are many good muslim families here in the west who are raising their kids in an Islamic manner. Furthermore, just because you are raised in a muslim country, it is absolutely no gurantee that your kids will be good muslims. There are plenty of sad cases that clearly illustrate that. It all comes down to the family and the parents themselves and how they raise their kids. I have two daughters and I have no problem raising them here in the US. They are well adjusted, they know their religion, and they know how to handle themselves in both "worlds" (muslim & non-muslim). The parents have to raise their kids, and not depend on soceity to do it for them.
- I'm an American revert. I'm a good Muslim but I don't want my kids being raised in a Western country. They will have American citizenship though because my husband doesn't want me to give up my citizenship.
- i think i would have been worse if i were in a muslim country. why? because most the girls in muslim country potray us as fashion freaks and try to copy us, no matter how desperate. i've seen my cousins. i was astonished to see i was the religous one in the group...i mean, these girls listened to music, and just wished for everything any other american girl would want. they took their deen for granted, and i mean it when i say it. i swear to Allah, even though this is a land of fitnah, it has made us religous muslims realize how lucky we are to be muslim, caue all those kaffirs out there really are losing it. i mean look at them! they went nuts. just turn on the tv and u'll know what im talking about. or go on the R&S section. omg crazy ppl. anyways, always thank Allah for the blessing of Islam, because it is truly the perfect religion, and it is time that we perfect ourselves to fit our religon insha-Allah asalamu alaiykum ur sis in Islam
- they are hypo crate. they leave because of money and better life and when they achieve they start crying that society is bad
