Do you think that the pictures of Prophet Muhammed should be banned and taken off?

Muslims say that in their religion they are NOT supposed to show a picture of any of their Prophets or God. I am Muslim too, and i think that the pictures of Prophet Muhammed should be taken off!!! What do you guys think??

3. Meh..............he isn't everyone's "prophet".....you cannot possibly expect to censor the entire world, or hold them to your beliefs and ideals.
4. If you don't like pictures of Mohammed, then don't draw any. But your beliefs are not going to dictate what the rest of the world does.
5. They shouldn't be taken off. They should be used as targets at shooting ranges and dart boards.
6. First of all they are no more pictures of Mohammed than the paintings of the white Anglo-Saxon, blonde-haired, blue-eyed "Jesus" are Jesus. No one knows what either man looked liked. So isn't all this upset a bunch of childish nonsense? And don't you think if the God of all creation is offended, He is perfectly capable of taking care of the offense without your help? I mean. How pathetic is your Allah that he needs you to act on his behalf? Is Allah that impotent? Is His arm that short? The insult to God is not that someone creates an image and falsely labels it "Mohammed." The insult to God is to tell the world that God needs tantrum-throwing Muslim men to avenge his honor. This more than anything assures the world that the "peace" of Islam is a fraud.
7. Assallam mu alaikom. Agreed. None of us know how does Prophet Muhammad look like. As such, whoever that claim the picture, portrait, drawings, sketch, graffiti,statue, caricature or any of it's kind as Prophet Muhammad, are all lies and insulting the Prophet and the entire Muslim community. May Allah Protect the dignity of all Prophets, in particular Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, Islam and all the entire Muslims. Ameen ya rabbal alaameen. Wabillahi Taufiq wal hidayat. Wassallam mu alaikom.
8. agree. we're not supposed to show any prophet's picture because it can lead to syirik. in islam we worship the one god not the prophets. muhammad is a prophet who show us the way of god. in his teach we believe. what so important the prophet's look-like? the most important thing is what he teach us, the way he live, his behaviour etc. peace
