I think he was right-handed, but I can't remember where I got that from (or if I'm pulling it out of nowhere).
Right hand to eat etc ,left hand to clean himself after going to the bathroom.
considering there is a 10% chance he could be a lefty, an even lesser chance he could be ambidexterous, and the fact that you wipe youself with your left hand in Arab cultures, I bet he was a righty. Would YOU follow a prophet that preferred to use toilet paper for everyday tasks?
He was right handed, because in Islam it's more preferable to use the right hand in anything - as long as its healthy that is. Its believed that - for example - eating with the left hand is not a good habit at all (I don't remember why though) I think you can search the Net for "Islam, using right hand" & you'll find what you're looking for. The prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him)used his right hand. He said we should use every right for people of the paradise do.BUT this dose not mean that those who use their left hands are evil. muslims are recommended to use every right but if they cannot it is okey.
