Collage 's students have to elect a language to study during their academic year. Do you think they may elect Arabic as language to learn?

1. It largely depends on the student demographic and geographical location of the school. I would want to learn a language if I would have some use of it in the future. Arabic is a difficult language to get vested into for just one year.

4. I think so. With all the interest in the Middle East, I think it would would be reasonable for "open-minded"people to want to learn more about the culture, including the language.
5. Arabic is one of the most popular languages in the World and it's also one of the 6 official languages in the UN. Its popularity is increasing quickly, plus its influence in many other popular languages like pesian, portuguese, spanish, Urdu, malay.... And Most important is the focus of the media in the Arab world attract many curious people to visit and see the culture of those countries and learn their language. So to answer your question, yes, they may elect Arabic, if it's not this time, in the future probably.

8. there is some student elect Arabic for a second language ofcourse not like spanish or french but its an intersting language thats depends on what u looking for in the future . Arabic harder than spanish or french cuz its completely diffrent of english and writing from right to left not like english if you need to pass the year choose easy language if you intersted in studying Arabic and looking for challenge and new fun stuff choose Arabic , its your choice and good luck

NO i don`t think, let me tell you something in our country, in elementary school and high school it is MANDATORY to learn arabic language. there is no way to get rid of this and every body has to learn it and pass the exams. the value of arabic language in our schools is more than english and only english and arabic are taught in our schools. we raped by arabs 1400 years ago and we forced to use their language and their fonts and their religions. as far as I saw it in my friends and school mates there is NO one who wants to learn arabic language. I think arabic is lousy... because they are still forcing to us we hate them and we dont want to learn and use their language. you know where am i living? yes, i`m living in IRAN. a country that is forced by arabs for 1400 years. we are forced to learn their language in our schools and we are forced to use it instead of our own language ( persian ). in whole world every body thinks there is no difference between arabs and iranians. but if i had just 15 seconds to say just 1 sentence to whole world, i mean if whole world would be listen to me for JUST 15 seconds i would say : IRANIANS ARE NOT ARABS. by the way, as i learnt it in school before, and i tried to learn some other languages in private institutes, i know that arabic is very difficult to learn, harder than Germany harder than chinese and harder than russian. let me give you one piece of advice : do not elect arabic language to learn, elect something better and more useful.
