Should I make a list of all of the good verses in the Quran?
All Muslims know that it will outweigh any of the bad, so what do you think of making this entire list? Then when we see those who hate us posting how much they hate us and using those verses taken out of context, we can come back with a list that is at least triple that size disproving everything they say. What about it?

- wasting ur time for the sake of allah is accpetable, wasting ur time for the non-believers is a waste of time, allah made it clear islam is the right religion, why waste ur time on those people that dont respect u in Y!A
- LOL just don't use all of them or it will take months! I really don't think the haters who post those things want any kind of disussion...they just want to spread their ignorance... but go ahead, it might even help you memorize them:) Ma'salama
- hahah i have that! lol. Its a word document and i just copy and paste my answers in it for future reference. If u want, i can send em to u to get a head start. They arent in any specific order though!
- Sorry sunshine. But when its realised your god was originally a moon god....check it out; type allah the mood god into your yahoo search box, then hit enter and read, I doubt very much if anyone will be interested.
- tell plz in QURAN E KAREEM which verse not good is????
- Yes, please as for references. And do let me know the lists okay, should I missed any good verses. Wish you all the best. Edit: Well, maybe it's not for argument, it's for our own knowledge.
- it will take forever... but i was actually thinking about pulling out verses of the Qur'an that say no to violence. go ahead!
- for mr or miss or mrs THUNOR look first ur god b4 u talk about ALLAH http://www.answering-christianity.com/ac20.htm quran is only good
- Go ahead but we all know that most of the "good" verses were either stolen from Christianity and Judaism or have been abrogated by the violent verses. There is no context to the quran, despite the silly argument presented by Muslims. How is there context if it's not in chronological order or told that it was only meant for such-and-such an event? You have to rely on other sources, ahadith, scholars to figure it out. Good luck convincing the people who haven't got a clue. God Bless.
- the Quran is full of "good verses" when i read it, i just write down the verses on the book mark its become a pretty long list lol
- AlFatihah AlBaqarah Verses 1-5 Ayatul Kursi Aamanar Rasul (last few of al-Baqarah) Laqad jaa-akum (last verse Surah at-Taubah) Innallaha wa malaaikatahu yusolluna 'alan-nabiyy..(verse) HuwAllahul-ladzi laa ilaha ill Huwa 'Aalimul-Ghaybi wash-Shahaadah... wa huwal-'Azizul-Hakiim. Many others there are a lot of ayats one can read for certain purposes or needs. Check out the Hizibs and Awrads of the various acknowldeged tariqahs and sufi groupsof Ahl Sunnah wal Jamaah a lot of the important verses are included in them. If you wanna read the hizb and awrad proper you have to get ijazah or pemission from someone authorised to issue to you.
- Wow, I'm sure your intentions are good but what is "bad" in the Quran. Clearly their words are getting to you. Only Allah can guide them, so if they think that this or that is bad it is only their ignorance/disease that Allah has increased in their hearts. Let them read their book and see if they’re truly satisfied, then maybe they can try to ridicule or pick at the perfect Quran...but still they will lose. Peace.
- Well, all 6,236 verses are great, alhamdullah. It would easier and faster to see what the poster is talking about, check out the verse and then provide tasfir. Remember, the person is trying to get a rile out of Muslims, so putting out too much information would be counterproductive-the post won't read it anyway. A succinct response displays honor and intelligence and the person who happens upon the post looking for answers/truth, can then ask his/her own question either directly to a Muslim or in general. Allah Subhana WaTa'la knows best.
- First of all i dont believe there are any bad verses! Second of all if ur going to make a list, i would suggest to copy and paste the whole thing, cuz its all good.! Mashallah.!
- simply u cant do that unless u r gonna write the whole quran
- I say don't try. The very idea of good verse and bad verse don't apply for Quran. All that is revealed is good. Even if some verse might not be understood at once. Instead have the entire Quran and learn the explanation from Scholars for the verses what you think or others think are not good. In fact there are only very few verses which are questioned by non-muslims and you will find a good answer from the books & lectures of Dr.Zakir Naik for them.
