QURAN ERRORS. Whats your favorite Quran error?
Tough question, cause there are so many to chose from, so I must admitt, I cant pick a single favorite. Heres some good starters: Quran 18:86 “(Zul-qarnain TRAVELLED till) when he reached the setting of the sun, he FOUND IT set IN A SPRING of murky water: NEAR IT (sun in spring) he found a People” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/018.qmt.html#018.086 Quran 20:53 "he (allah) who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out" http://www.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/020.qmt.html#020.053 Wait, maybe I do have a favorite...here it is: Quran 4:82 “Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.” I love this one because Muslims use it all the time to prove the truth of the Quran!!! They literally use an error to prove Islam's validity...of course, they are to stupid to realize this is a laughable error in itself. If your not smart enough to immediately see why this is an error...ask yourself what happens to this aya if humans can make a book without errors? LOL!!! OF COURSE...HUMANS CAN MAKE BOOKS WITHOUT ERRORS!!! WHOOPS!!!

- The whole thing.
- Wake me up before you go go. You know that song. Brother vida you said it so well, but i think we should leave him be, you never know his heart might soften, and convert to Islam.
- i prove you wrong for this: Quran 4:82 “Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.” u sound stupid. the part where" had it been from other than allah" it means that if there are other books revealed other than the quran, there will be discrepencies(eg. bible) you wont bother to find out about islam becos you are against it. you only try to find its "mistakes" which never were.
- There are slight differences in translations. But the integrity of the Qur'an in its original language is preserved. That is why non-Arabic speakers are encouraged to learn Arabic and study root words and such--so we can read and recite Qur'an in its original form.
- The following contradictions are one of my favorites in the Quran. Question: Have some passages in the Quran been abrogated? Answer: Some say the Quran is perfect and can never be abrogated, but the Quran has some verses have been abrogated. Opinion 1 - No, the Quran is perfect and can never be abrogated. 6:34 There is none to alter the decisions of Allah. 6:115 Perfected is the Word of thy Lord in truth and justice. There is naught that can change His words. 10:64 There is no changing the Words of Allah. 18:27 And recite that which hath been revealed unto thee of the Scripture of thy Lord. There is none who can change His words. Opinion 2: Yes, some verses have been abrogated. 2:106 Nothing of our revelation (even a single verse) do we abrogate or cause be forgotten, but we bring (in place) one better or the like thereof. 16:101 And when We put a revelation in place of (another) revelation, - and Allah knoweth best what He revealeth - they say: Lo! thou art but inventing. Most of them know not.
- The Quran is written in Classical Arabic, a language that is no longer spoken and that is completely different from the Modern Standard Arabic of today. So, there you have why the mistakes, the person that was translating could have said anything and no one is able to check if it's true or false. Those that recite the Quran are just like parrot, they know the words but not the meaning.
- Muslims try to excuse themselves by claiming the verse on the setting sun is not to be taken as it is. Bad move, cos even Imam Bukhari recorded the details of what muhammad(pibuh) said. Sahih Bukhari Hadiths: Abzur Ghifari (ra) narrated: one day Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) asked me, “Abzar do you know after setting where does Sun go?” I replied, I do not know, only Allah’s apostle can say better. Then Prophet (SA) replied, “After setting, the sun remains prostrated under Allah’s Aro’sh and waits for Allah’s command for rising again in the East.” Hello, where did this caveman muhammad(pibuh) come from? can we get some light here.
- You call that a error, Man try to read it in Arabic then you will get the real meaning. Yes, all Muslims admit that the "Translation" can have some errors thats why to get the real understand of Holy Quran you have to learn from Arabic language. No other religion can even claim to have there books in the its orginal language except Holy Quran. http://askmuslims.com
