Current News - Should the Muslim Council of Britain be given more air time?

Here is what they have said - that is one in the eye for all those misguided nutters out there!!!! I think they should be given more media attention - they are far more worthy of it than a lot of news items. "It is our Islamic duty not only to utterly and totally condemn such evil actions, but to provide all the necessary support to prevent such atrocities from taking place. We would take this opportunity to commend the new Prime Minister Gordon Brown and the Home Secretary Jacqui Smith for the calm and reassuring tone of their responses to the recent attacks in which they made clear that it was unacceptable to hold any one faith group or community as being somehow collectively responsible for the actions of a few." adrian p - I think they are trying to but this doesn't get much coverage. They are condemning the bombers, what more do you want?

Public Comments

  1. They should get the same amount of air time as any other religion. Perhaps look among themselves to find out who are the radicals that are causing all the trouble and tell the police who they are. This goes for any country that has the problem
  2. No, they should not be given more air time. Not until they demonstrate that they are rational enough to condemn when condemnation is required. For all law abiding muslims that they are supposed to represent , they let down. If they preceive their 'islamic duty' as not to call a terrosist attack a terroist attack then they have no place in a civilised society. What they are implying is they cannot disrespect their 'brothers' by condemning their unlawful actions. Then what is the purpose of the counsel if not to advise muslims on moral issues? ***Actually, I apologise, I read the quote wrongly. I thought the quote said ''It is our Islamic duty not to utterly and totally condemn...... but to provide support to prevent....''. My mistake. The fact that they condemn the terrosist attacks they should be given more air play to show support for and views of law abiding people in the muslim community.
  3. ......and will that make them inform on their own kind. I don`t think so....!
  4. They should look within there own community and do more to route out these evil, despicable murderers that are now deep within society, health service and who know where else, what if there are some within the armed forces and other positions of power, i know this is a little paranoid but it sets your mind thinking
  5. I think I would answer yes to this question. this is exactly what people need to hear at this time. Maybe hearing constant condemnation from the muslim community would make some people think twicw before starting up all that "kick them all out and send them all back" shit which isn`t helping anyone.
  6. Dispatches: Channel 4 a few months ago... These people were filmed in their own mosques by an under cover reporter with a secret camera. In public they condemned the bombings...In the privacy of the mosques..they were spitting fire and brimstone at the west... ..calling for our annihilation. I would not believe it if one of them told me night follows day.
  7. Public statements are easily made. I think more time should be given to them to come clean about the agendas they have had since they first came on the scene. Read the books by Patrick Sukhdo on this subject. He can give you an insiders perspective showing that what we are experiencing now has been brewing for an awful lot longer than anyone ever cares or dares to talk about. Because post modernist thinking has taken away peoples belief in such a thing as truth we are in a hopelessly poor condition now to try and respond correctly to what is going on.
  8. I don't think more air time would make a difference, maybe talk to someone about your feelings to TV world about it they may help you. But like the"nutters" that effect mine and my families life, they don't play by the laws of the land,so bye bye i say It's my birth place and my god given right to live in peace. Their day will come and going to f***ing hell
  9. Okay, I'm with you and hope that their attitude stays the same in the future. Give them more air time? Sure, if it helps to allay fears and possible retaliations against innocent people. I just wish all law abiding muslims felt the same way. Unfortunately, polls have been showing the opposite lately. Peace.
  10. No they should not
  11. The only air time they should get is the amount of time a fleet of jets takes to get to mid Atlantic before jettisoning their cargo
  12. Remember there are 1.6 million Muslims in the UK. If 20% are terrorists or supporters that means 320,000 dangerous people in the UK (20% of 1.6 million = 320,000) I respectfully think it was a mistake to move so many people from an old tradition like Islam to the UK. No disrespect intended they THINK they are fighting for Islam after all
  13. i think the Muslims who are born here and regard themselves BRITISH should attend their mosque and if they see or hear anything detrimental to OUR country then report it to the authorities to deal with and if the cleric is out of order deport him straight away and all his family
  14. no don't give them any time at all.
